Getting WholeBudget running, or telling us something is wrong.

Get started on your Mac

  1. Download WholeBudget from the download page (Apple Silicon Macs).
  2. Open the .dmg and drag WholeBudget into Applications.
  3. Open it. The app updates itself when a new version ships.

Pair your iPhone

Your iPhone and your Mac need to be on the same Wi-Fi.

  1. On the Mac, open Settings, then Devices (the iPhone Companion card), and turn on Allow iPhones to connect.
  2. Click Pair a new iPhone and choose whose phone it is. The Mac shows a QR code.
  3. On the iPhone, open Settings, tap Pair with a Mac, choose Scan QR, and point the camera at the code.
  4. The first time, allow Local Network access when the iPhone asks.

Report a problem

Write to support@wholebudget.io. Say what you were doing and what you expected, and include the app version, which is shown under the WholeBudget name at the top of the Mac app’s sidebar.

Cancel Plus or ask for a refund

Plus is bought and billed by Apple, so Apple handles both.

  • To cancel, open your iPhone’s Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose WholeBudget. Cancel at least a day before a free trial or a renewal ends to avoid the next charge.
  • For a refund, ask Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple decides refunds; WholeBudgetcan’t grant them.
